For the look of wood with maximum weather resistance, our composite shutters are made from Extira® — a man-made panel product that resists moisture, rot, and termites, and offers excellent performance in exterior environments. They are ideal for painted shutters in any non-structural exterior application.

Composite shutters are available in the same styles as our wood shutters — louvered, raised panel, and board and batten profiles — with the louvers and vertical boards routed out of a solid piece of material for a clean, seamless look. Each shutter is 1.25" thick with 2.5" rails and stiles. Since we build our shutters ourselves and never out-source construction to other companies, we maintain the highest quality construction and pass our savings on to you.

Every composite shutter comes primed at no extra charge, ready for your finish coat of paint. And because composite doesn't require the same drying and milling steps as solid wood, our composite shutters ship in approximately 15 business days — faster than our wood lines.
