High-quality materials, fine craftsmanship and design establish our Classic Bahama wood shutter as a classic addition in new construction or renovation projects. Adding the enhancing detail of all-wood shutters can transform an ordinary house into a classic. Some may call this style shutter Bermuda or Hurricane shutters.

Your shutters are made from your choice of high-quality

  • Southern Yellow Pine
  • Incense Cedar
  • Red Grandis
  • African Mahogany.

We ensure our wood supply comes from only managed forests and use Select Grade which is a furniture grade wood.

The Classic Bahama wood shutter is available in the standard classic style which provides shade from direct sunlight yet still offers a view through the louvers. If you prefer more privacy, request a Closed Louver Style. If you have a special size or application, please call us. We can accommodate most special shutter requests.

Our Bahamas' joints feature hand construction, screw-type assembly, corrosion-resistant fasteners out of high-quality Pine, Cedar, Red Grandis, and Mahogany.

The finishes offered for our shutters are

  • Unfinished (ready for priming and painting)
  • Primed (recommeneded before painting)
  • Stain-grade (detail given to chosen pieces)

We recommend the primed finish, if you plan to paint your shutters.

Our Classic Bahama wood shutters are available in lengths and widths to the quarter inch up to 120". Additionally, requests can be quoted for unique custom sizes and other special design requirements.

If you can not order the size or style you desire via our custom order cart, please give us a call.
