Custom Bahama shutters from Sunbelt Shutters are hand-crafted to your exact specifications, right here in the USA. High-quality materials, fine craftsmanship and design make our Classic Bahama wood shutter a natural fit for new construction or renovation. Some call this style Bermuda or hurricane shutters.
Your shutters are made from your choice of Southern Yellow Pine, Incense Cedar, Red Grandis or African Mahogany. Our wood comes only from managed forests, and we use Select Grade, a furniture-grade wood. Joints are hand-built with screw-type assembly and corrosion-resistant fasteners. Because we build every shutter ourselves and never out-source construction, we control the quality and pass the savings on to you.
Open or closed louvers
The standard open-louver style shades your windows from direct sun while keeping a view through the louvers. For more privacy, choose Closed Louvers. Either way, Bahama shutters mount at the top of the window and prop open on sturdy arms for shade, storm protection and unmistakable coastal character.
