Classic Bahama Shutters, Built the Way Shutters Should Be BuiltCustom Bahama shutters from Sunbelt Shutters are hand-crafted to your exact specifications, right here in the USA. High-quality materials, fine craftsmanship and design establish our Classic Bahama wood shutter as a classic addition in new construction or renovation projects. Adding the enhancing detail of all-wood shutters can transform an ordinary house into a classic. Some may call this style Bermuda or Hurricane shutters. Your shutters are made from your choice of premium Southern Yellow Pine, Incense Cedar, Red Grandis, or African Mahogany. We ensure our wood supply comes only from managed forests and use Select Grade, which is a furniture grade wood. Our Bahamas' joints feature hand construction, screw-type assembly, and corrosion-resistant fasteners. Since we build our shutters ourselves and never out-source construction to other companies, we maintain the highest quality construction and pass our savings on to you. Open or Closed Louver — Your ChoiceThe Classic Bahama wood shutter is available in the standard classic style, which provides shade from direct sunlight yet still offers a view through the louvers. If you prefer more privacy, request a Closed Louver Style. Whichever you choose, our Bahama shutters mount at the top of the window and swing outward on sturdy telescoping arms, offering shade, storm protection, and unmistakable coastal character. Custom Sized to the Quarter InchEvery window is different, and your shutters should fit yours. Our Classic Bahama shutters are available in lengths and widths to the quarter inch up to 120", so your shutters look like they were made for your home — because they were. Standard sizes are up to 76" wide; larger sizes are available with an Oversize Shipping Fee. If you have a special size or application, please call us — we can accommodate most special shutter requests. Ordering Is EasySunbelt Shutters' unique custom ordering system allows you to easily design and order custom sized shutters directly from this page. Select your style, enter your dimensions, and choose your wood and finish. We recommend the primed finish if you plan to paint your shutters. Complete the look with our Bahama shutter hinges and telescoping aluminum arms. Not sure how to measure? See our How to Measure guide, or order a sample shutter before committing to a full order. Since we build the shutters, we stand behind them with our 5-year workmanship warranty — the best in the business for custom-built shutters. Our standard shutters ship in approximately 6-8 weeks, with free shipping on shutters less than 76". Contractors and installers: we offer quantity discounts for your volume purchases, whether you need 10 units or 1,000. See our Contractor Sales page or give us a call at 888-778-4774. |
