About the Bahama Shutter Hinge
John Wright's cast iron hinge for Bahama shutters. A pair carries the top edge of the shutter so it swings up and out, and the textured black powder coat is made for weather.

Planning Bahama hardware
Each Bahama shutter needs one top hinge and either a pair of arms or a pair of hooks. Arm length sets how far the shutter props open: longer arms open it wider. Measure from the sill (or the wall, for wall-mount brackets) to where the arm meets the shutter at the angle you want.
