About the Clark's Tip Blind Shutter Hinges
Clark's Tip hinges work like the ACME mortise hinge but mount on the face of the house or trim, so they suit homes where there is not enough exposed wood to mortise. Like the ACME, they are designed so the wind cannot lift the shutter off.
John Wright has cast traditional hardware in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, since 1880. Raw cast iron pieces must be primed and painted before installation; WeatherWright powder-coated pieces arrive finished in black.
