About the Cast Iron New York Pintle Shims
Build out John Wright New York pintles by 1/4". Each kit has three shims with matching screws.
John Wright's New York style hardware is heavy cast iron with a textured black powder coat and slotted screws, the way the originals were made. The hinges lift off their 7/16" pins for painting and removal, and the line uses its own pin size, so pair it with John Wright pintles and hinges only.
