Optional. Every vinyl shutter order already includes plugs and screws. Clips are an alternate, hidden way to mount — nothing shows on the shutter face.
A Cleaner Look: Mount From Behind
Shutterplugs and painted screws go through the face of the shutter. Mounting clips do not. The clip fastens to the wall behind where the shutter will sit, and the shutter snaps onto it from the front — so the face of the shutter is untouched. It is a little more work to line up, and once the shutter is snapped on the installation is permanent.
Clips are made for Mastic standard-size and custom vinyl shutters (they may fit other brands of hollow-back vinyl shutters, but we only guarantee Mastic).
