Measure Before You Order
Every top is 15" wide and fits only 15" wide Mastic vinyl shutters. Heights: louvered arch 15-1/2", raised panel arch 16-1/8", raised panel transom 12-15/16".
Arch tops (half-round windows): measure from the bottom of the window trim up to the point where the window starts to curve. That is the shutter length to order — the arch top sits on top of it. Example: 59" from the bottom of the trim to the start of the arch means 15" x 59" shutters plus a pair of arch tops, for a finished height of 74-1/2" (louvered) or 75-1/8" (raised panel).
Transom tops (rectangular windows): measure the full height of the window including the trim, subtract 12-15/16" (the height of the transom top), and round down to the nearest available shutter length. Example: a 72" window less 12-15/16" is 59-1/16", so order 15" x 59" shutters plus a pair of transom tops, for a finished height of 71-15/16".

Arch tops are not just for half-round windows — mounted next to a rectangular or elliptical window they add an architectural accent, and the long straight side can sit under a second-story eave without cutting the shutter.
Turn Any Pair of Vinyl Shutters Into Arched or Transom Shutters
These decorative tops clip onto the top of standard vinyl louvered or raised panel shutters and fasten to the wall with the same color-matched shutterplugs or painted screws you use for the shutters. Once mounted, the top and shutter read as a single, taller shutter beside the window.
They are injection-molded from the same high-density copolymer as Mastic shutters, with the same textured wood-grain finish and the same 22 baked-on colors, so the match is exact. Like the shutters, they will not rot, crack, split or peel, they never need painting, and every color can be repainted later with a latex-free exterior paint.

- Louvered quarter round arch top — open-louver styling to continue the lines of a louvered shutter. 15" wide x 15-1/2" high.
- Raised panel quarter round arch top — a beveled raised panel inside the arch, for raised panel shutters. 15" wide x 16-1/8" high.
- Raised panel transom top — a square raised panel that stretches a shutter to fit 10" or 11" transom windows, or builds a three-panel shutter from a two-panel one. 15" wide x 12-15/16" high.

Which vinyl shutters do these tops fit?
All three tops are made for Mastic vinyl louvered and raised panel shutters in the 15" width. They do not fit the 12" width or shutters from other manufacturers.
What size shutters should I order for an arch top?
Measure from the bottom of the window trim up to the point where the arch begins, and order your shutters in that length. The arch top adds 15-1/2" (louvered) or 16-1/8" (raised panel) above it.
